We also have cool journals that you will be proud to own and develop with your own personal touch. They are the perfect place to pour your thoughts out and upload heaps of brain and heart info. You can download free basic journal sheets as well. Plus we have some amazing swag to help you remember some key messages or kick around in some designer brain magic kit.

Meet Rhodneey.  (Silent H. Two E’s. Yeah, i know!) He’s Jack’s invisible best mate and you cannot see him. Like, at all. He’s RIGHT THERE and you just… can’t. Sometimes he puts on his green suit so you actually know where he is — and then BOOM, suit off, gone again!   Sometimes he pops on his green suit so you can actually spot him… otherwise? Total ghost. He helps Jack run the show, pull the pranks, plants rubber ducks everywhere, and proves that being a bit different is honestly the coolest thing ever. PS His Teddy bear is called Mr Squinky.

A Brain Hack is a cool trick that helps your brain and body feel better when you’re stressed, anxious, or dealing with big emotions. By using your senses or shifting your attention, Brain Hacks help interrupt those not-so-great feelings and switch on your brain’s natural calm mode — helping you feel more relaxed, balanced, and in control!

War Heads

Using sour candy like Warheads can be a great distraction when you’re feeling upset or annoyed. the intense, sour taste provides a sensory shock that can momentarily pull your focus away from emotional distress and onto the strong flavour in your mouth. It works as a quick “grounding” tool to interrupt negative thought patterns and help you regain control over your emotions.

Gum

Chewing gum is great for Mental health. Studies have shown chewing gum has been associated with reduced stress and anxiety. Chew and see!

Aromas

Lavender, lemon and rosemary are all wonderful scents that might lift your mood.

Spritz a citrusy scent in the morning to get yourself into go mode.

Sniff something minty like peppermint oil to stay alert when you’re bored.

Try lavender oil near your bed to send you off to la la land.

Self Haven

How to Self-Haven, Self-havening is like giving yourself a hug to feel calm. Here’s how you do it:

Basic Hug Rub: Cross your arms over your chest like you’re hugging yourself. Then rub your arms down, from shoulders to elbows, while breathing slowly. You can say “calm and relax” out loud for 1–2 minutes.

Imagine a Peaceful Place: Do the arm rub and imagine a relaxing place. Then gently rub your forehead and cheeks while thinking of that peaceful scene.

Focus on Breathing: As you rub your arms, breathe deeply without pausing between breaths, and pay attention to how your breathing feels.

Hand Rubs: After the arm rub, softly rub one palm with the other, going back and forth like you’re giving your hands a gentle massage.

 

1. Change Your View

If everything feels wrong, try literally looking at something else. Go outside, look at the clouds, or stand on your head for thirty seconds. Sometimes your brain just gets stuck in a “loop” like a computer, and a quick change of scenery is the “Reset” button you need to break the cycle.

2. Feel the “Fizzes”

When you’re upset, your body feels “fizzy”—maybe your chest is tight or your hands want to squeeze something. Don’t try to hide it. Stomp your feet, scribble a messy picture on a piece of paper, or squeeze a pillow as hard as you can. Getting the “fizzes” out of your body makes room for the calm to come back in.

3. The Truth Check

Remember that just because you feel like it’s a bad day doesn’t mean it’s a bad life. Our brains can be like glitchy robots sometimes; they tell us things are failing when we’re actually just tired or hungry. Ask yourself: “Is this a forever problem, or just a right-now problem?” Usually, it’s just a right-now problem.

4. Tiny Wins Only

On a really tough day, stop trying to do the “big” things. Focus on a tiny win. Drink a glass of water, put one toy away, or take three deep breaths. These are like the small “panels” in your grid—once you get one or two in place, the rest of the picture starts to look a lot better.
